Key information
- Dedicated series: AQ-Forza HT R417
- Published maximum water temperature: Up to 70°C
- Published duty point: 45 kW and COP 2.65 at A7/W65 for AQ-F-045
A radiator system can work with a heat pump when emitter output, leaving-water temperature and building heat loss are checked together. AQ-Forza HT is the AQVOCLIMA series for commercial and high-temperature retrofit duties.
Check whether the radiators can meet the load at 45–55°C during normal weather using compensation control. Every reduction in water temperature improves efficiency.
Water temperatures of 60–70°C may be required by existing systems, hot-water production or specific commercial duties. Select from the relevant A/W point, not nominal output alone.
| Question | Required information |
|---|---|
| How much output? | Heat loss at the design outdoor temperature. |
| At what water temperature? | Radiator output at the proposed flow temperature. |
| What efficiency? | COP at the project air/water condition. |
| Which hydraulic arrangement? | Flow, system volume, DHW and zone control. |
Often yes, but their output must be checked at the proposed water temperature and compared with each room load.
Efficiency falls as water temperature rises, so weather compensation and the lowest practical setpoint remain important.
